GO-VAXX Mobile Vaccine Clinics Achieve Major Milestone

Published on October 19, 2021

Ontario’s GO-VAXX mobile vaccine clinics have proven to be a highly effective component of the province’s last mile strategy to get COVID-19 vaccines to Ontarians. Since they first hit the road in mid-August, the GO-VAXX clinics have now administered more than 10,000 first and second doses through smaller, community-based and easy-to-access settings across Southern Ontario and beyond.

No appointments are needed, and anyone aged 12 and over can get their first or second dose while the buses are operating and supplies last. These retrofitted buses are fully accessible for first and second doses of the Pfizer vaccine. As the province’s vaccine rollout progresses, targeted strategies such as the GO-VAXX bus will play a vital role in reaching communities with lower vaccination rates.
