Ontario Highway Programs and MapPublished on July 21, 2020
Ontario is supporting the economy by investing approximately $2.6 billion to expand and repair the province’s highways and bridges. The government is keeping Ontario’s highways safe and reliable, while supporting economic growth in local communities.
As Ontario reopens and rebounds from the COVID-19 pandemic, the government is delivering on its commitment to improve infrastructure and create thousands of good jobs.
The ministry is launching the new Highway Programs with an online tool that provides Ontarians and businesses with information about highway projects that are underway or planned for construction.
The new online tool allows the public to see how the Ontario government is improving transportation in their community.
The release of Ontario’s Highway Programs demonstrates that the government is committed to being transparent and investing in highway infrastructure projects while also helping the construction industry plan for the future.
