Ontario Together Funding - Clean Works Medical and Pure Life Machinery

Published on August 11, 2020

The government is committed to making “Ontario Made” the gold standard for the manufacturing of essential medical equipment and supplies here in Canada and around the world.

That’s why the Province is providing $2 million from the Ontario Together Fund to Clean Works Medical and Pure Life Machinery. This Beamsville-based company is manufacturing a new innovative device designed to sanitize N95 masks and other personal protective equipment for frontline workers in the fight against COVID-19.

With Ontario’s support, the company will create 19 new jobs and scale up the production of its Clean Flow Mini portable disinfectant device to nearly triple its current capacity.  The units can clean up to 800 N95 masks per hour.

Throughout Ontario businesses like Clean Works have demonstrated the true meaning of the “Ontario Spirit” by providing equipment and supplies to protect frontline workers, families and communities during the COVID-19 outbreak.

By pursuing this made-in-Ontario approach to producing medical supplies, the government is putting the health and safety of the province’s individuals, families and businesses first.
